At Saving Grace, we believe in shepherding children with a heart of tenderness and compassion. The teaching of God's Word is the emphasis of our Children's Ministry. We currently provide a Sunday School class for children aged 3 through age 12. Children within this age group are expected to attend their designated class, or respectfully sit with their parents in the sanctuary.
We believe in clearly presenting the Gospel in an age-appropriate manner so children of all ages are invited to receive Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and grow in His grace and knowledge. Lessons include a Bible study, prayer, and supplemental activities.
Because we like to encourage families to worship together as a unit, we do not provide a separate worship/singing session for children. Children stay with parents during our time of praise and worship.
Those who serve in Children's Ministry must be Spirit-filled, have been in regular attendance for a minimum of six months, continue in regular attendance when not teaching, and be approved by the Pastor, Church Board, and Sunday School Director.
